2008 Potentate's Message...To All Sphinx Nobles

January 2008 Thank you for putting your trust in me and electing me as your Potentate for 2008. Since this is a leap year, we have one extra day to work toward creating a better Sphinx Shrine! I would appeal to you all to serious make an effort to pull together. What we do all year as Nobles needs to build membership and keep Sphinx moving forward on a positive path. We started with one small fund-raiser on Chief Rabban's Night. We will need others. I appeal to the entire Nobility to come forth with your ideas and your input for our consideration. We will strive to look at everything that can work - and with your enthusiasm, we can put those ideas into positive action! We are addressing the challenges of our physical Shrine Center. New projects are in the talking and planning stages. The contract for the new roof has been signed and work will begin this Spring. The best action we can have from you is your continued participation in our 2008 Sphinx Events. Well-attended functions result in overall team spirit and forward momentum ! Reserve early and see you there! Installation Night was a great evening, with the ceremony at the Scottish Rite building being very inspiring. The dinner, dancing and camaraderie shared by all at the Shrine Center were awesome. WE ARE FAMILY! Throughout the year, I urge you to continue checking the calendar, Booster, Website and email newsletter for updates on all our events.
